32 bit os has compatibility issues. Don’t use. Only use 64 bit.
64 bit options
Android 11 - 0628 - works great. Wi-Fi works. No play store. Use aurora as a workaround, but a lot of Android games rely on playstore authentication. Huge gap of available Android games that could work with playstore. About 300-400mb more ram available. Use this build if you don’t care about Android games. Use obtanium to help keep apps up to date. Home button mapped as escape button which is annoying.
Android 11 - 0912 64 bit build
Use this build if you want the google playstore and especially if you have one of the 5 gigs WiFi models. There was a build that added the playstore between 0624 and 0912 but it was janky and weird. The 0912 works as a normal Google play store build without registering. Home button still mapped to escape for some reason and sometimes is seen as 2 controllers when mapping buttons. Also, 32 gig on board storage limits Android games. Be sure to to enable developer settings and turn on “force allow apps on external.” You still have to move apps one by one. I prefer Android 13’s ability to let you install an sd card as a merged internal storage extension so Android thinks it’s one big one.
Android13 - (ported from the x55) has builds for Google play store and no Google playstore. This build correctly maps the home button, and seems snappy, but 5ghz WiFi doesn’t work for me on either build. Hoping we can get a new Android 13 build with the WiFi fix from 0912 build.
Potential in the future-
GammaOS is getting ported right now to x55 with the same chipset. A port of that would be great!
Linux/jelos builds
A port of the x55 jelos build called chaos was made to work with our e6 plus. Not as strong emulation wise as the android counterpart but works out of the box. There is some chargin/battery display issue
